ALERTRoswell is Roswell's official public safety alert system. It provides urgent and time-sensitive notifications that help protect life and property during emergencies.

You may receive alerts for:

• Severe weather (tornadoes, extreme heat, flooding)
• Emergency evacuations or shelter-in-place orders
• Utility emergencies (power outages, boil water advisories)
• Police activity or public safety concerns
• Road closures due to accidents or hazards
• Missing Persons Alerts

These alerts are issued by Roswell's Emergency Management, Fire, Police, and Public Safety teams. Messages are location-specific and actionable, helping you stay safe and make informed decisions quickly.

RoswellConnect is designed for non-emergency notifications and general city updates. It keeps you engaged with the latest happenings around Roswell without the urgency of emergency alerts.

You might receive updates about:

• Community events and festivals
• Recreation & Parks programs or cancellations
• Roadwork and city service changes (e.g., trash collection schedules)
• Public meetings, surveys, or engagement opportunities

RoswellConnect is managed by the City's Communications Division and helps build strong connections between the city and its residents.

When you register, you can:

• Enter your contact info (email, mobile, landline)
• Select your preferred contact methods (text, email, voice call)
• Choose which types of alerts you want to receive: Fulton County Alerts, ALERTRoswell, RoswellConnections, Weather Alerts, or all
• Update your location(s) to receive alerts relevant to your neighborhood

The City of Roswell discontinued Nixle on May 20, 2025, in favor of participating in the Fulton Alert and Community Notification System (FALCON), powered by Everbridge. To continue getting critical notifications, you must subscribe to our new system, FALCON/ALERTRoswell. Please sign up for FALCON/ALERTRoswell on the Everbridge website or download the app.

If you are already signed up for FALCON/ALERTRoswell, you can update your contact information or preferences by logging into your Everbridge account.

This system will allow subscribers to the City of Roswell to be notified of an emergency situation in a variety of ways, including on their cell phones, home and work phones and by text messaging and e-mail.

When will it be used?

The system will be used to notify subscribers about imminent threats to health and safety such as a flash flood, a fire or other critical police activity.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up on the Everbridge website or download the app. If you need alerts about activity at more than one location, fill out a separate registration form for each address.

If I'm already subscribed to Nixle alerts, will I still get emergency notifications if I don't sign up for ALERTRoswell?

Is there a fee to use the service?

No. The service itself is free to anyone who lives in Fulton County. Participants will be responsible, however, for any fees associated with text messaging charged by their cell phone service provider.

What if my phone number or e-mail address change?

If your cell phone, work phone, or email address changes, you are responsible for updating the information on the Everbridge website. You do not need to update information for landline telephones at your home; that information will be automatically updated.

Will my contact information be shared with others?

No. The information that you provide will be used for emergency purposes only. It will not be given to any other vendor or organization or used for any other purpose.

Will I be guaranteed to receive the notifications?

We cannot monitor the current or future accuracy of the information provided by participants in this program. It is the sole responsibility of participants to keep any information provided current and accurate. We do not assume legal responsibility for inaccurate information or technical difficulties that may result in notification failures.
